Privacy Policy


These Terms and Conditions define the rights and obligations of the parties with respect to electronic services provided via telecommunications networks.
These Terms and Conditions have been prepared in accordance with Article 8(1)(1) of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the Provision of Electronic Services (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 344, as amended).

Chapter 1. General Provisions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

  1. Commercial Information – commercial information within the meaning of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the Provision of Electronic Services (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 344, as amended).
  2. Portal – the information portal available at https://www.zks.waw.pl;
  3. Terms and Conditions – this document.
  4. ZKS Club – Związkowy Klub Strzelecki Warszawa, ul. Marymoncka 42, 01-977 Warsaw, Poland, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 1180945718.
  5. Administrator – the Management Board of Związkowy Klub Strzelecki Warszawa.
  6. User – a member of the ZKS Club or a non-member using the services available through the Portal.

Legal Status of the Portal

  1. The Portal is operated by the Administrator and is the property of the ZKS Club.
  2. The Portal is intended for members of the ZKS Club as well as individuals who are not members of the Club but wish to use the services available through the Portal at:
    https://www.zks.waw.pl; https://zks.waw.pl; https://zks.waw.pl; https://portal.zks.waw.pl.

Chapter 2. Types and Scope of Electronic Services

The services provided by the ZKS Club through the Portal include:

  1. providing Users with free access to the content and features available on the Portal;
  2. informing Users about events organized or hosted by the ZKS Club;
  3. operating a Forum available exclusively to ZKS Club members, subject to registration and approval by the Administrator. Access to the Forum is granted after verification of the applicant’s membership in the ZKS Club. Access is revoked upon termination of membership.

Use of the Portal is subject to the User having read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions without modification or reservation.

Each User is required to use the Portal in compliance with applicable laws and accepted standards of conduct, with due respect for the personal rights and intellectual property rights of third parties.

The User is entitled to use the Portal solely for personal purposes. The use of the Portal’s resources and functionalities for any activity that infringes upon the interests of the ZKS Club is prohibited.

The following content is prohibited from being posted on the Portal and its associated websites:

  1. erotic or sexually explicit content; content offensive to religious beliefs or political views; vulgar, offensive, or abusive content; and content unrelated to the activities of the ZKS Club;
  2. content that infringes upon the rights or legitimate interests of other entities or third parties;
  3. private advertisements, except those posted in the “For Sale” section of the Forum; complaints, opinions, apologies, and any other letters, statements, or declarations not directly related to the current activities of the ZKS Club;
  4. posts or comments of a private nature concerning the current or past activities of members of the governing bodies of the ZKS Club;
  5. private or commercial advertisements, including paid advertisements, in any form.

Chapter 3. Terms and Conditions for the Provision of Electronic Services

Access to the Portal requires a device with Internet access and an installed, properly configured, up-to-date version of a web browser.

The systems and applications used by the ZKS Club ensure a high standard of security and personal data protection. However, Users should be aware that using the Portal requires access to a public telecommunications network (the Internet), which involves an increased risk of threats associated with the use of the Internet.

Chapter 4. Terms and Conditions for the Conclusion and Termination of Agreements for the Provision of Electronic Services

The Administrator reserves the right to discontinue the operation of the Portal without stating any reason, provided that Users are notified at least 14 days in advance.

Chapter 5. Personal Data Protection, Confidentiality, Copyright, and Comments

For the purposes of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”), the data controller is the Związkowy Klub Strzelecki Warszawa (ZKS Warsaw Shooting Club).

The Data Controller processes personal data for the following purposes:

  1. for the conclusion and performance of an agreement for the provision of electronic services under the terms set out in the Terms and Conditions;
  2. for sending messages containing information.

Chapter 6. Copyright

Both the overall structure of the content available on the Portal, as well as its individual elements such as written materials, photographs, graphics, and other content, are protected under the general provisions of the Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 2509). Each User is obliged to respect copyright rights under the risk of civil and criminal liability arising from the provisions of the aforementioned Act.

The texts published on the Portal may be used solely within the scope of permitted personal use. Any use of the texts published on the Portal for purposes other than personal use requires the consent of the Administrator.

The above consent also applies to photographs and other materials that are not text-based.

Chapter 7. Complaint Procedure

The Administrator undertakes to remedy, within a technically reasonable time, any irregularities in the operation of the Portal reported by Users to the following address: biuro@zks.waw.pl

Chapter 8. Procedure for Amending the Terms and Conditions

The ZKS Club reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.

Any amendment to the Terms and Conditions shall take effect upon approval of its content by the Management Board of the ZKS Club and in the absence of objections raised by the Audit Committee of the ZKS Club.

Chapter 9. Final Provisions

The governing law applicable to all legal relations arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be the law of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent common courts of Poland having territorial jurisdiction.
